In 2024, we introduced an exciting program to celebrate team members who not only embrace but truly embody these values.
Throughout the year, we had the honor of recognizing several outstanding individuals who exemplify what it means to be part of MSD. Let’s take a closer look at our 2024 Core Value Award Winners, who go above and beyond to showcase the heart and soul of our company.
Quarter 1: Randy Shoemaker
Randy was recognized for his remarkable generosity and initiative. Nick shared how Randy stepped outside his usual responsibilities to prepare meals for both technicians and clients. Using his own time and money, Randy provided lunches that created a sense of community and care. His thoughtful actions are a true reflection of MSD’s values and his dedication to others.
Quarter 2: Nate Gibson, Josh Spivey, and Jason Hollman
Nate Gibson
Nate has been a consistent and reliable force at Cedarville University over the past few years. Despite being tasked with challenging projects, Nate handles them with grace, professionalism, and a problem-solving mindset. He goes the extra mile to ensure high-quality outcomes, all while supporting other contractors and keeping MSD’s reputation at the forefront.
Josh Spivey
Josh’s hard work and dependability set him apart. Known for his punctuality and willingness to lend a hand, Josh exemplifies what it means to be a top-notch service technician. His pride in his work and commitment to helping his colleagues make him an invaluable member of the MSD team.
Jason Hollman
Jason consistently showcases teamwork, professionalism, and a willingness to tackle any challenge. His efforts do not go unnoticed, and his dedication continues to raise the bar for excellence at MSD. Long story short, Jason went above and beyond with a new service client. A tree fell after a storm, blocking traffic to the location, and Jason didn’t hesitate to help clear the tree. The CEO saw him helping and was so impressed with his willingness to step up without a moment’s hesitation.
Quarter 3: Chidi Kimunya
Chidi is a standout example of professionalism and positive engagement. Two separate calls from the Pizzuti Company highlighted Chidi’s exceptional work ethic and friendly demeanor. He takes the time to educate building tenants about his work and answers their questions with patience and expertise. Chidi’s dedication makes him a phenomenal brand ambassador for MSD.
Quarter 4: Blake Thomas, Kyle Ralston, and Sharon Baber
Sharon Baber
Sharon is the epitome of reliability and expertise in her role. Always timely, clear, and upbeat, Sharon brings a positive energy to everything she does. Her HR expertise ensures that the team has the support and information they need, and her ability to deliver results quickly and effectively makes her a cornerstone of MSD’s success.

Blake embodies our core values in every way. Whether tackling complex challenges on-site or fostering an atmosphere of enjoyment, Blake’s relentlessness and expertise inspire those around him.
