Get Ready to Saddle Up for Pink Hot Country Night!

This past Saturday, September 14th, we had the pleasure of supporting Pink Hot Country Night, an exciting evening filled with fun, laughter, and community spirit at The Exchange in Pleasant Hill. With live country music, a mechanical bull (sponsored by MSD, Inc. and TC Holzen Inc.), a hat bar, axe throwing, tacos, and cold beer, it was the perfect way to bring everyone together for a great cause!

Supporting a Great Cause: Pink Ribbon Good

If you’re unfamiliar with Pink Ribbon Good (PRG), allow us to introduce you to this amazing organization. Pink Ribbon Good exists to serve every person and family affected by breast and gynecological cancer, offering services that ease the burden of treatment and recovery so no one has to face the fight alone.

Pink Ribbon Good’s Services:

  • Free Healthy Meals: Delivered right to the doorsteps of patients and their families, these meals are not only nutritious but also quick and easy to prepare.
  • Rides to Treatment: Going through cancer treatment is tough enough. Pink Ribbon Good makes sure patients get to their treatments on time and back home safely, eliminating one more worry.
  • Housecleaning Essentials: PRG provides all-natural cleaning products and lightweight vacuums to help patients maintain a clean environment while they heal, ensuring their homes remain a sanctuary for recovery.
  • Peer Support and Education: Cancer can be an isolating experience, but Pink Ribbon Good combats this by offering in-person and virtual peer support events to provide connection and education throughout the journey.

A Night to Remember

Pink Hot Country Night is just one of the many events that Pink Ribbon Good hosts to bring people together in support of their mission. We at MSD, Inc. are proud to stand by their side and contribute to the cause. It was an unforgettable night filled with fun activities, great food, and an even greater purpose.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support Pink Ribbon Good, and a special shout-out to our co-sponsor, TC Holzen Inc., for making the night even more memorable with the mechanical bull. We’re already looking forward to next year’s event!

Together, we can make a difference. Thank you, Pink Ribbon Good, for the incredible work you do, and thank you to all who came out to show their support!

WPAFB Sensors Lab

Wright-Patt Air Force Base sought contractors to renovate and add onto the Sensors Lab. The HVAC portion of the project was over $13 million.

  • MSD served as the Design Assist Contractor in conjunction with Heapy Engineering for this project. In collaborating with General Contractor, Butt Construction, MSD provided Design Assist solutions for the following:
    • A large, anechoic chamber
    • An outdoor range
    • Multiple, Class-100 clean rooms
    • A three-story office building addition with DCID 6-9 requirements on many of the rooms

WPAFB Chilled Water System

The chilled water system at a high-security building on the Air Force Base was undersized and unable to keep up with demand. The facility could not operate without chilled water due to the amount of information servers in the building, and the general nature of the building itself. The entire upgrade project would need to be completed with minimal shut down time at the building. HVAC portion of this project was over $3 million.

  • MSD worked in collaboration with Diaz Construction to complete the system upgrades on time and on budget with minimal shutdowns or disruption to the facility operations.

LJB, Inc.

LJB, Inc. was renovating their Miamisburg, OH office and wanted to incorporate energy-saving upgrades.

  • MSD provided Design Build services in tandem with Greensleeves Energy Solutions, a specialist in geothermal systems.
  • MSD and Greensleeves installed a new geothermal HVAC system with open and closed loops. In addition, MSD design and installed the plumbing portion of the renovation.
